Observation / Fishing Pier

This application proposes development and construction of an 8 foot wide, 100 foot long boardwalk leading to a 16 foot wide, and 550 foot long pier with handrails and lighting at the Oscoda Beach Park on Lake Huron.  The proposed project would create a direct link between existing boardwalk and sunbathing deck areas to and over the Lake Huron waterfront.  The project will be designed and implemented in conformance with "universal access" standards.

As shown in the picture below, a similar pier was located at the beach park but was removed in the 1980's.
